Your clients are suppressed in code.

The real risk in handing fulfilment to a supplier who also sells direct is not that they break a contract. It is that your client list reaches them through the work itself, and a non-circumvention clause does nothing about that at all.

The order matters. The exclusion is applied while the prospect list is being built, not checked afterwards by someone who remembers the contract. That is the difference between a suppression list and a non-circumvention clause.

How it actually runs.

  1. 01

The domain enters the list on arrival

Not on placement, not on invoice. The moment a target URL reaches us, its domain is written to the suppression list.

  2. 02

Prospecting reads the list before it builds anything

The check runs before a candidate list exists, so a suppressed domain cannot enter a campaign even by accident.

  3. 03

It applies across every brand we operate

Not just LinkTribune outreach. Any outbound we run anywhere reads the same list, because you do not care which of our names makes contact.

  4. 04

    It never expires

A domain you sent in month one is still excluded in year three, and stays excluded after a partnership ends. A protection that lapses is a delay, not a protection.

Why a contract clause is not enough.

A non-circumvention clause is enforced after the fact, by you, in a jurisdiction that may not be yours, against a supplier who has already made contact. By the time it matters, the thing you were protecting against has happened.

It also depends on you noticing. Nobody audits their supplier's outbound, which is precisely why the clause is the industry standard: it costs a supplier nothing to offer and almost nothing to breach.

A suppression list is enforced before the fact, by the system, with no step that depends on either side remembering it exists.
